Our Story
Blacktan Design was founded on a simple observation: too many renovations go wrong because homeowners can't fully visualise the finished result until it's too late to change.
We set out to solve that problem. By combining traditional design expertise with modern 3D scanning, photorealistic rendering, and 360° walkthroughs, we help homeowners see and experience their renovation before construction begins.
We're proud to be based in Invercargill, Southland, where we specialise in kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, and full house renovations. While we love working locally, our design process allows us to work remotely throughout New Zealand and Australia bringing our expertise to your project wherever you are.
